Dillon Brooks Signs with the Houston Rockets
Former Memphis Grizzlies Star Finds New Home
Brooks brings scoring prowess and defensive tenacity to Texas
Dillon Brooks, the former Memphis Grizzlies guard-forward, has signed a four-year, $80 million deal with the Houston Rockets. Brooks, who was drafted 15th overall by the Rockets in the 2017 NBA Draft, is known for his scoring ability and strong defense.
In his five seasons with the Grizzlies, Brooks averaged 14.8 points per game while shooting 45.2% from the field and 36.6% from three-point range. He also averaged 3.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
Brooks' signing is a major boost for the Rockets, who are looking to rebuild after a disappointing season. Brooks will be expected to be a key contributor on both ends of the court.
