AP Poll: North Carolina basketball moves up to No. 1

North Carolina is the unanimous No. 1 in the latest Associated Press men's basketball poll, which was released Monday.
The Tar Heels received all 61 first-place votes from a national media panel after beating then-No. 1 Purdue 98-76 on Saturday.
North Carolina is 15-0 this season and has won its last 11 games by an average of 22.5 points.
No. 2 Purdue
Purdue dropped to No. 2 after its loss to North Carolina.
The Boilermakers are 13-1 this season and have won their last nine games.
Purdue will face No. 19 Wisconsin on Tuesday.
No. 3 Houston
Houston moved up to No. 3 after beating then-No. 5 Virginia 69-61 on Saturday.
The Cougars are 13-1 this season and have won their last 10 games.
Houston will face No. 12 Alabama on Tuesday.
No. 4 Alabama
Alabama moved up to No. 4 after beating then-No. 14 Tennessee 71-68 on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide are 12-2 this season and have won their last eight games.
Alabama will face No. 3 Houston on Tuesday.
No. 5 Arizona
Arizona moved up to No. 5 after beating then-No. 16 Utah 84-66 on Saturday.
The Wildcats are 13-2 this season and have won their last nine games.
Arizona will face No. 18 Oregon on Tuesday.
